Specimen Required

Patient Preparation
Collect

Serum separator tube (SST) or plain red.

Specimen Preparation

Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum to an ARUP standard transport tube. (Min: 0.25 mL) Freeze immediately.
Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Storage/Transport Temperature

Frozen.
